On July 25th, the China Photographers Association held a conference. Comrade Li Qianguang, member of the Party Group and Vice Chairman of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, attended the meeting and delivered an important speech. Comrade Zheng Xiyou, Director of the Personnel Department of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, announced that after research by the Party Group of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and approval by the Central Propaganda Department, Comrade Zheng Gengsheng will be appointed as the Secretary of the Party Group of the China Photography Association, and Comrade Wang Yao will no longer serve as the Secretary of the Party Group of the China Photography Association.

Li Qianguang pointed out that the adjustment of the main members of the branch party group of the China Film Association was made by the Party group of the Federation of Literary and Art Circles based on relevant regulations on cadre personnel work and the actual situation of the Film Association, after repeated weighing and careful consideration. He fully affirmed Comrade Wang Yao's work in organizing a series of themed activities around the overall work of the Party and the country, conscientiously completing the tasks of central inspection and rectification, and serving as a training member for photographers during his tenure as the secretary of the sub party group. Li Qianguang introduced the basic situation of Comrade Zheng Gengsheng and expressed his belief that he will be able to unite and lead the sub party group and all employees of the Photography Association, make new achievements for the development of the Photography Association and the photography industry, and not disappoint the trust and expectations of the Party organization and all cadres and employees of the Photography Association.

Li Qianguang, on behalf of the Party Group of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, expressed hope and requirements for the construction of the Party Group and Cadre Team of the China Film Association. He demanded that the Chinese Film Association further strengthen the ideological and political construction of the sub party groups, continuously improve the ability and level of collective leadership and scientific decision-making; We must conscientiously implement the "Opinions of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on the Prosperity and Development of Socialist Literature and Art" and the "Opinions of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on Strengthening and Improving the Party's Mass Work", and strive to create a new situation in the development of the photography industry and the China Photography Association. We must seize historical opportunities, enhance the sense of urgency, responsibility, and initiative of reform, and comprehensively improve the management level and service capacity of the China Photography Association through reform; We need to further strengthen our own construction and internal management, and continuously improve the institutionalization, standardization, and scientific level of association construction. Li Qianguang requested that the Chinese Photographers' Association spare no effort to make preparations for the 9th National Congress of the Chinese Photographers' Association, and strive to change the cohesion and combat effectiveness of the Association through this new congress, so as to meet the successful convening of the 19th National Congress of the CPC with a new spirit and excellent work achievements!

Wang Yao expressed her gratitude to the Central Propaganda Department and the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles for their long-term training and education, and expressed her full support for Comrade Zheng Gengsheng's work in the future. She deeply recalled the efforts she had made with all the staff of the China Photography Association over the past five years to contribute to the work of the association and the development of the photography industry, and expressed gratitude for the trust and help they had given in their work. She said that under the leadership of the Central Propaganda Department and the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the work of the China Film Association will definitely create a new situation.

Zheng Gengsheng, the newly appointed Secretary of the Party Group of the China Film Association, stated that he is fortunate to work side by side with all cadres and employees of the China Film Association and contribute to the development of the association. He deeply feels the great responsibility, arduous tasks, and glorious mission. In his future work, he will strive to be politically firm, loyal to the Party, fulfill his duties, work diligently, unite and cooperate, seek truth and innovation, strictly demand, be honest and self disciplined, and not disappoint the heavy trust of the Party Group of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the expectations of colleagues in the photography industry and all cadres and employees of the China Photography Association. With tangible achievements, he will welcome the successful convening of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.
